Section 2 of 4, and generally north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 2 of 4, 41, and 40, Block I aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 40, Block I, to and north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Section 68, Block II, Otago Peninsula Survey District, south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 69 and 70, Block II, and north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Section 70 to its north-eastern corner; thence northerly along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 72; thence south-easterly and north-westerly along the south-western and north-eastern boundaries of Section 72, and north-easterly to and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 22; thence generally south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 50, 48, 1 of 46, 1 of 44, 42, 40, 39, 38, and 37, Block II, Otago Peninsula Survey District; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Block III, Otago Peninsula Survey District, to the south-western boundary of Section 52, Block III aforesaid; thence south-easterly along that boundary and its production to the mean high-water mark of the ocean; thence generally westerly along that high-water mark to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Tomahawk Survey District; thence north-easterly, north-westerly, and south-westerly to and along the south-eastern, north-eastern, and north-western boundaries of that survey district to the easternmost corner of Block VIII, Andersons Bay Survey District; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that Block VIII to the north-western boundary of Section 17; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Section 17, Block VIII, and Sections 13 and 23, Block VII, to the Tomahawk Lagoon; thence generally westerly along the northern shore of the Tomahawk Lagoon to its junction with the eastern boundary of the City of Dunedin; thence generally northerly along the eastern boundary of the City of Dunedin, hereinbefore described, to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF TOMAHAWK RIDING

All that area in the Otago Land District and Peninsula County bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 27, Block VII, Otago Peninsula Survey District; thence south-easterly, south-westerly, and north-westerly along the north-eastern, south-eastern, and south-western boundaries of that section to and south-westerly along the southern side of Victoria Road to the easternmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 1772; thence south-westerly along the southern boundary of Section 1, Block XII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, to Forbury Road; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern side of Forbury Road and its production to the mean high-water mark of the ocean; thence generally easterly along that high-water mark to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Tomahawk Survey District; thence north-easterly, north-westerly, and south-westerly to and along the south-eastern, north-eastern, and north-western boundaries of that survey district to the easternmost corner of Block VIII, Andersons Bay Survey District; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that Block VIII to the north-western boundary of Section 17; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Section 17, Block VIII, and Sections 13 and 23, Block VII, to the boundary of the City of Dunedin on the northern shore of Tomahawk Lagoon; thence generally southerly and westerly along the boundary of the City of Dunedin, hereinbefore described, to the northernmost corner of Section 27, Block VII, Otago Peninsula Survey District, the point of commencement.

Notice Under Section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953

Pursuant to section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953, the Maori Trustee hereby gives notice that lists of unclaimed moneys, dated 25 March 1958, derived from the Aotea Maori Land Court District and held by him have been filed in the Office of the Registrar of the Maori Land Court at Whangarei, Auckland, Rotorua, Gisborne, Wanganui, and Wellington, and at all sub-offices of the Department of Maori Affairs, where the same may be inspected during office hours without payment of fee.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Te Arawa Development Scheme)

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 6 September 1938 and published in the Gazette, 8 September 1938, Volume III, page 2008.
