Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 14th day of April 1958.

ALL those pieces of land in the Gisborne Land District, situated in Block I, Waimata Survey District and in the Patutahi Town District, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land Subject as to Part to a Building-line Restriction and to a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Transmission Line

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 27th day of February 1958, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 5th day of March 1958, subject as to Lots 282 and 312, D.P. 19120, and Lots 262 to 267, 275 to 280, 283 to 304 (all inclusive), on plan P. W. D. 155729 (H. D. C. 31232), and Lots 367 to 377, 380 to 384, 438 to 446 (all inclusive), and Lot 416, on plan P. W. D. 155730 (H. D. C. 31233) to the building-line restriction imposed by notice No. 450029, Canterbury Land Registry, and subject as to Lots 217 to 221, 262 to 267 (all inclusive), 209, 210, and 213, on plan P.W.D. 155729 (H.D.C. 31232), to Proclamation No. 327851, Canterbury Land Registry, defining the middle line of a transmission line.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
