Appointment of the New Plymouth Free Kindergarten Association, Incorporated; to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the

New Plymouth Free Kindergarten Association, Incorporated,

to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for a site for a kindergarten.

Declaration that a Reserve be the Mount Moturoa Domain and Appointment of Domain Board

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to be known as the Mount Moturoa Domain, and further, appoints the Taranaki County Council to be the Mount Moturoa Domain Board to have control of the said domain.

Temporary Stipendiary Magistrate Appointed

Pursuant to section 10 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint William Carrol Harley, Esquire, of New Plymouth, to be a Stipendiary Magistrate to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand; to hold and exercise the duties of such office for the period from the 14th day of April 1958 to the 10th day of May 1958, both days inclusive.

Declaration That Part of the Mangatoitoi Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Land

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Mangatoitoi Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said land.

Land in Borough of Glen Eden Declared to be a Public Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Glen Eden Borough Council on the 17th day of February 1958:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, as amended by section 3 of the Reserves and Domains Amendment Act 1956, the Glen Eden Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of land vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough, held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act."

Reservation of Land and Declared to be Part of the Farndon Park Domain

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act to be part of the Farndon Park Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.
