In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of Oamaru Knitwear Ltd. (in liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 281 of the
Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above-
named company will be held at the registered office of the
company, 17 Itchen Street, Oamaru, on Wednesday, the 22nd
day of January 1958, at 5.30 o'clock in the afternoon, for the
purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the
winding up has been conducted and the property of the com-
pany has been disposed of and to receive any explanation
thereof by the liquidators.
Further Business:
1.To pass the following resolution as an extraordinary
resolution, namely—
“That the books of the company be retained for a period of
six years by the liquidators and then burned.”
NOTE—Every member entitled to vote and attend at the
meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote
instead of him. A proxy need not also be a member.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of Alex. Bushnell and Co. Ltd.
At an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the
above-named company, duly convened, and held in the A.A.
Board Room, Kelvin Street, Invercargill, on Monday, 16
December 1957, the following extraordinary resolution was
duly passed:
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting
that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue
its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and
accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
At the said meeting, John Edmond McClean, of Invercargill,
public accountant, was appointed liquidator for the purposes
of such winding up.
