Licensing Wilson Rothery Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Panmure, Tamaki River, as a Site for a Stock-landing Wharf and Ramp

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Wilson Rothery Ltd. (hereinafter called the company, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Panmure, Tamaki River, as shown on plans marked M.D. 8416 and M.D. 10301 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a stock-landing wharf and ramp as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

This notice is in substitution for the Order in Council made on the 19th day of December 1945, and published in the Gazette, 10 January 1946, Vol. 1, page 5, licensing Wilson Rothery Ltd. to use and occupy a part of the foreshore at Panmure, Tamaki River, as a site for a stock-landing wharf and ramp.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of January 1958.

3. The premium payable by the company shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).

4. The company shall not discharge any refuse into the river or permit any person to discharge any refuse belonging to the company into the river.

Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land in Block XII, Russell Survey District, for a Maori School

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for a Maori School; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Russell and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

ALL that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District containing 2 acres 2 roods 26·6 perches, situated in Block XII, Russell Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Otetao B No. 2 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 155124 (S.O. 39711) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land Subject to Certain Rights

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 25th day of November 1957, subject to the fencing agreement contained in memorandum of transfer No. 500514, Auckland Land Registry, and subject to the building-line restriction contained in Order in Council No. 14773, Auckland Land Registry.
