Child Welfare Act 1925—Revoking Appointments of Child Welfare Officers

PURSUANT to the Child Welfare Act 1925, the Minister of Education hereby notifies that, as the under-mentioned persons have ceased to be Child Welfare Officers, their appointments, made under section 2 of the said Act, have been revoked as from the date hereof:

Gormly, Theodore Louis John;
Tennet, née Collins, Elizabeth Henry; and
Unger, Heinz Ralf.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Rodney County

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, approval has been granted to the Rodney County Council to prepare, recommend, and approve its district scheme by sections as follows:

Section 1—

The whole of the County district dealing with the following matters as set out in the Second Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Act 1953:

(1) The zoning or definition of areas to be used exclusively or principally for urban or rural purposes.
(5) Public access by main communication routes.
(9) Provision and preservation of amenities including the regulation and control of outdoor advertising.
(10) Control of subdivision including restraint upon unnecessary encroachment of urban development upon land of high actual or potential value for the production of food.
(11) Land subdivisional standards in relation to any permitted use.
(12) Minimum site areas and dimensions in relation to uses of land and buildings.

Section 2, 2A, 2B, etc.—

Those parts of the County which will be defined as urban development zones in section 1 of the district scheme when approved, making provision for such of the matters referred to in the Second Schedule to the Act as are appropriate to the circumstances.

Section 3—

That part of the County which will be defined as a rural zone in section 1 of the district scheme when approved, making provision for such of the matters referred to in the Second Schedule to the Act as are appropriate to the circumstances, and have not already been provided for in section 1.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Kaitaia and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing, and send the writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

ALL those pieces of land in the North Auckland Land District, situated in the Takahue Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:
