Land Proclaimed as Road, and Road Closed and Added to Land Held for a Public School, in Block IV, Akaroa Survey District, Akaroa County

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to the land now held for a public school described in the Third Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD

ALL that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District containing 25·3 perches, situated in Block IV, Akaroa Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being part Reserve 4834; coloured sepia on plan.

SECOND SCHEDULE
ROAD CLOSED

ALL that piece of road in the Canterbury Land District containing 1 rood 2·9 perches, situated in Block IV, Akaroa Survey District, Canterbury R.D., and adjoining Town Sections 130 and 130x, Town of Akaroa, Reserves 53x and 4834, part Reserve 53, Lot 1, D.P. 6474, being part Rural Section 61, and part Lot 1, D.P. 4491, being part Rural Section 61; coloured green on plan.

THIRD SCHEDULE
LAND HELD FOR A PUBLIC SCHOOL

ALL those pieces of land in the Canterbury Land District, situated in Block IV, Akaroa Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Being
0 0 3·4 Part Lot 1, D.P. 4491, being part Rural Section 61; coloured blue, edged blue, on plan.
0 0 35·3 Part Reserve 4834; edged sepia on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 155414 (S.O. 9190) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of February 1958.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD

ALL that piece of land in the Westland Land District containing 3 roods 5·7 perches, situated in Block II, Toaroha Survey District, being part Rural Section 2298; coloured blue on plan.

SECOND SCHEDULE
ROAD CLOSED

ALL that piece of road in the Westland Land District containing 3 roods 5·7 perches, situated in Block II, Toaroha Survey District, and adjoining Rural Section 2298; coloured green on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 155423 (S.O. 4246) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of February 1958.

Directing the Revision of District Valuation Rolls

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 19th day of February 1958

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the District Valuation Rolls for the Taumarunui and Westland Counties shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 28 February 1958.
