CLIFTON COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

WHEREAS by notice first published on the 22nd day of March 1957, the Clifton County Council gave notice that it proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road through parts of the Ngatirahiri 7A, 7B, and 7D Blocks and through part of the bed of the Waiau Stream and for the purposes of such public work proposed to take:

(1) Thirty-eight perches, more or less, being part of the Ngatirahiri 7A Block and part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 116, folio 235 (Taranaki Registry).

(2) One acre and 35 perches, more or less, being part of the Ngatirahiri 7B Block and part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 17, folio 35 (Taranaki Registry).

(3) Two acres 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being part of the Ngatirahiri 7D Block and part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 110, folio 12 (Taranaki Registry).

(4) Seven perches, more or less, being parts of the Waiau Stream bed the said pieces of land being shown on Survey Office Plan No. 8786 and coloured thereon blue, sepia and orange respectively; and whereas a Proclamation, taking the said lands has not yet been gazetted; now therefore, pursuant to section 22 (5) of the said Act the Council confirms its intention, subject to the provisions of the said Act, of executing the said work and taking the said pieces of land.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the portions of land described in the Schedule hereto.

A plan showing the portions of land proposed to be taken is available for public inspection at the office of the Tauranga County Council, Cameron Road, Tauranga, during 40 (forty) days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons affected by the taking of the land and having well grounded objections thereto are hereby called upon to set forth their objections in writing and send the same to the office of the Tauranga County Council on or before the 24th day of March 1958.

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Featherston County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, a public road, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the

Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Kitchener Street, Martinborough, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Kitchener Street, Martinborough.

WARKWORTH TOWN COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Drainage Extension Loan 1957, £3,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Warkworth Town Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,000 authorised to be raised by the Warkworth Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of constructing a septic tank and sewerage reticulation, the said Warkworth Town Council hereby makes a special rate of 1/12th of a penny in the £1 upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Town District of Warkworth, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Warkworth Town Council at a special meeting held on the 18th day of February 1958.

WAITARA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Street Sealing Loan £10,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitara Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitara Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council's share of the cost of sealing streets in the Borough, the said Waitara Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of fourteen-fifteenths of a penny (14/15d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Waitara; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy and a correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Waitara Borough Council held on the 24th day of February 1958.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitara Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £26,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitara Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of replacing portion of the existing water main and to provide for filtration, the said Waitara Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one and twenty-one sixty-fourths
