RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL, NGARUAWAHAIA
SPECIAL ORDER
Rotongaro Drainage District
In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 227,
Counties Act 1956, the Raglan County Council, on the petition
of the majority of the ratepayers of the Rotongaro Drainage
District, resolves and declares by way of special order as
follows:
"That the boundaries of the area known as the Rotongaro
Drainage District be amended by extending the boundaries
of the said Drainage District and the amended boundaries
shall be as follows:
"All that area in the Raglan County, in the South Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point
in the middle of the mouth of the Whangape Stream and
running southerly generally up the left bank of the Waikato
River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of
Allotment 61, Whangape Parish in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey
District; thence south-westerly generally along a right line
across the Rangiriri-Huntly West Road, to and along the
aforesaid south-western boundary and the south-eastern
boundaries of Sections 43 and 2, Block XI, Rangiriri Survey
District to the eastern side of the Okowhao Road; thence
southerly along the eastern side of that road to and along
the eastern boundary of Allotment 28, Pepepe Parish, along a
right line across the aforesaid road to and along its north-western side, again westerly along the south-western boundary
of Allotment 28 aforesaid, the south-eastern and south-western
boundaries of Section 32 of the aforesaid Block XI, along a
right line running due west across the Pukekapia Road and
along its western side to and along the northern side of the
Huntly-Rotowaro via Waikokowai Main Highway to the southern
corner of Section 10, Block X, Rangiriri Survey District
aforesaid; thence northerly generally along the south-western
boundary of Section 10 aforesaid, the abutment of a public
road, along the south-western boundary of Section 4 of the
aforesaid Block X, to and easterly along the south-eastern
side of Hetherington's Road to a point in line with the
southern end of the eastern side of Bain's Road; thence along
a right line across Hetherington's Road aforesaid to and
northerly along the eastern side of Bain's Road aforesaid
to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of Section
6 of the aforesaid Block X, again along the eastern side of
Bain's Road to and along the western and northern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 28062, being part of Allotment 141 of
Whangape Parish, along the north-western boundary of Section
31 of the aforesaid Block VI to and along the generally
eastern shores of Lake Whangape to a point due west of the
northern corner of the western end of a public road forming
the southern boundary of Section 1, Block VI aforesaid; thence
along a right line to and along the southern, eastern, and
northern boundaries of the aforesaid Section 1 and along
another right line being the production of the aforesaid northern boundary and the eastern shores of Lake Whangape,
again along the aforesaid shores to and down the middle of
the Whangape Stream to its mouth, the point of commencement.
"The amended Rotongaro Drainage District shall be constituted as from 1 February 1958."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
meeting of the Raglan County Council held on 28 January
1958.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be
received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the
day preceding publication.
Subscriptions—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per
calendar year, including postage, payable in advance.
Single copies of the Gazette as follows:
For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every
subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for
the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing),
subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating
the purchase of extra copies.
Orders should be placed with the Government Printer,
Publications Branch, Wellington C.1. Separate copies of
regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and
Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or
from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.

the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.
Free Postage: All publications sold by the Department are
now post free—except that when trade discount is allowed,

should be amended accordingly.
