Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for thermal purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Licensing the Port Curtis Cruising Club Inc. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Point Curtis, Kaipara Harbour, as a Site for a Slipway

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Port Curtis Cruising Club Inc. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Point Curtis, Kaipara Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10217 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, as a site for a slipway, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from 1 November 1957.

3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5), and the annual sum so payable, three pounds (£3).

Notice Prescribing New Scale of Contributions Under National Provident Fund Act 1950

Pursuant to section 35 of the National Provident Fund Act 1950, the National Provident Fund Board, on the recommendation of the actuary appointed under section 70 of that Act, hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the National Provident Fund (Scale of Contributions) Notice 1957, and shall come into force on the 1st day of December 1957.

2. The scales of contributions payable under sections 18 and 19 of the National Provident Fund Act 1950 shall be the scales set out in the Schedule to this notice.

3. No alteration of rates of contributions effected by this notice shall affect the rate at which any contributions are payable by or on behalf of any person at the date of the commencement of this notice.

SCHEDULE

SCALES OF CONTRIBUTIONS

In the application of the above contribution rates to pension units of 10s. weekly, the rate shown for £1 will be divided by two. Where the result is not even pence the appropriate rate payable in the first instance will be the next even penny above. If later, in respect of additional 10s. units, the division of the contribution for the £1 unit again results in ½d., then the appropriate rate will be the penny next below.
