Revoking Notices Setting Apart Land for a Police Station

COBHAM, Governor-General
PURSUANT to the Mining Act 1926, I, Charles John, Viscount
Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
revoke the notices dated 18 May and 1 June 1922, and
published in Gazette, 25 May and 8 June 1922, at pages 1479
and 1553 respectively, setting apart the land described in the
Schedule hereto as a public reserve for the purposes of a
police station.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 38 perches, more or less,
being Sections 172, 173, 174, 175, and 176, Town of Ross,
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
deposited in the Head Office of the Mines Department, at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 15th day of November 1957.

Exempting Land in the South Auckland Land District From
the Operations of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

COBHAM, Governor-General
PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the
Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE
THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines
Act 1925.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the South Auckland Land District
containing 1 rood 7·3 perches, more or less, being Lot 83
on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland
as No. 17389 (Town of Rotowaro), and being portion of
Allotment 79 of the Parish of Pepepe, excepting thereout
all veins, seams, and beds of coal, fireclay, and all minerals
whatsoever in, upon, or under the said land, and being
part of the land comprised and described in certificate
of title, Volume 810, folio 6, South Auckland Registry,
subject to a mining easement appurtenant to the coal,
fireclay, and minerals created by Conveyance No. 173870,
confirmed by Deed No. 178252.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 15th day of November 1957.

Crown Lands Exempted from Mining

COBHAM, Governor-General
PURSUANT to the Mining Act 1926, I, Charles John, Viscount
Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
exempt the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto
from the operation of the said Act, subject to all existing
registered mining privileges.

SCHEDULE
ALL Crown lands whatsoever situated within that area of land
containing 13,033 acres 1 rood 9 perches, more or less, situated in Blocks X, XI, XII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Waimea
Survey District, and Blocks III and IV, Kaniere Survey District, being part Reserves 1620, 1621, and 1678, and Reserves
1745 and 1902 permanent State forest (Gazette, 1957, page
1285) and Reserve 1953 permanent State forest (Gazette
1956, page 338); as the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan deposited in the Head Office of the Mines Department at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 7th day of November 1957.

PURSUANT to the Child Welfare Act 1925, the Minister of
Education hereby notifies that, as the under-mentioned persons
have ceased to be Child Welfare Officers, their appointments,
made under section 2 of the said Act, have been revoked as
from the date hereof:

Tomaszyk, Krystyna Stanislawa.
