Amendment of Standard Specification
PURSUANT to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 18 October 1957, amended the under-mentioned standard specification by the incorporation of the amendment shown hereunder:
Number and Title of Specification: N.Z.S.S. 671: Model sanitary plumbing and drainage bylaws.
Amendment: No. 2, October 1957.
Price of Copy (Post Free): 3s. 6d.

Plant Declared Noxious Weed in the County of Manawatu (Notice No. Ag. 6413)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, hereby publishes the following special order made by the Manawatu County Council on the 8th day of October 1957.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT the Manawatu County Council resolves by way of special order that the plant named thorn apple (Datura stramonium) be declared a noxious weed in the County of Manawatu.

Biological Products Exempted from the Provisions of the Stock Remedies (Biological Products) Regulations 1951 (Notice No. Ag. 6408)
PURSUANT to subclause (14) of regulation 40 of the Stock Remedies (Biological Products) Regulations 1951, notice is hereby given that the Stock Remedies Registration Board has resolved that the provisions of the said regulation shall now apply to the following products:
Wellcome Stilboestrol Veterinary Pessaries
Wellcome Solution of Stilboestrol in Oil For use in uterine disorders in cattle.
This notice hereby revokes the relevant part of Notice No. Ag. 6264 of 22 March 1957, which appeared in the Gazette, No. 25, dated 28 March 1957, page 556.
