The Hunua Rabbit District Order 1957 (Notice No. Ag. 6406)

ORDER IN-COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 9th day of October 1957
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Hunua Rabbit District Order 1957.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Hunua Rabbit District as constituted by Order in Council on the 19th day of August 1953, are hereby altered and redefined, and as from the commencement of this order the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF THE HUNUA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being the Kaitieke County as described in the Gazette, 1927, Vol. II, page 1960, and the Manunui Town District as described in the Gazette, 1921, Vol. II, page 1635.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 9th day of October 1957
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto for the common use and benefit of the Ngatihine and Ngatimaru tribes as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a burial ground.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area of land situated in Blocks IX and XIII, Russell Survey District, containing 18 acres 1 rood 23 perches, more or less, and being all of the land known as the Otarare Block; as is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.L. 13939 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon edged red.

Taking Land for Public Purposes at Rarotonga (Cook Islands)

At the Government House at Wellington this 9th day of October 1957

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 357 of the Cook Islands Act 1915, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby takes the land described in the Schedule hereto for the following public purpose, namely, meteorological research installations.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land situated in the district of Avarua in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 3 acres and 13 perches, more or less, being part of the land named by the Native Land Court, Ruaunga Section 218 Avarua; as the same is delineated and coloured yellow on the plan signed by the Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court of the Cook Islands at Rarotonga, under No. 65.

Authorising the Laying Off of Leander Street in the City of Christchurch, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of October 1957

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan referred to in the said Schedule as P.W.D. 154566, within a distance of 40 ft. from the centre line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 35 perches, more or less, being part Lot 10, D.P. 13238, being part Rural Section 3.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 154566 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street Off Fife Street in the City of Auckland Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of October 1957
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland City Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 45 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on a subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 154565 referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 15 ft. from the side lines of the said street.

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, situated in the City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 0Β·5 perch, more or less, being part Allotment 2 of Section 9, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 154565 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Cancelling a Condition as to Setting Back the Building Line of the Western Side of Portion of Gudgeon Street, in the City of Auckland, Imposed by Order in Council Under Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated 18 October 1944, and published in Gazette, 19 October 1944, Volume III, page 1254, and registered in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 11527, exempting the western side of portion of Gudgeon Street in the City of Auckland from the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, subject to a condition as to the building line by cancelling the building-line condition imposed by the said Order in Council in so far as it affects Lot 2, D.P. 32724, being part Allotment 16 of Section 8, of the City of Auckland, being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 847, folio 80, Auckland Land Registry.
