    Licensing Amphibian Airways Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part
    of the Foreshore at Watercress Beach, Paterson Inlet, Half-
    moon Bay, Stewart Island, as a Landing Site for Aircraft
    PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
    hereby licenses and permits Amphibian Airways Ltd. (herein-
    after called the licensee, which term shall include its succes-
    sors or assigns, unless the context requires a different con-
    struction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land
    below low water mark at Watercress Beach, Paterson Inlet,
    Half-moon Bay, Stewart Island, as shown hatched red on plan
    marked M.D. 9553 and deposited in the office of the Marine
    Department at Wellington, and all that portion of Watercress
    Beach up to high water mark lying 75 yards east of the existing
    boatsheds and slipways as shown on plan marked M.D. 9342
    and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wel-
    lington, for the purpose of the use of landing sites for aircraft
    thereon, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee
    upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the
    Schedule hereto.
    SCHEDULE
  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
    tions 1940 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far
    as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds
    (£2) and the annual sum so payable eight pounds (£8).
  3. The term of this licence shall be fourteen years from the
    1st day of July 1957.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Golden
Bay (Notice No. Ag. 6387)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Assistant
Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation
from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said
Act, hereby publishes the following resolution passed by the
Golden Bay Council on the 10th day of September 1957.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT the following plants be declared noxious weeds in the
whole of the county:
Barberry (Berberis darwinii).
Bathurst bur (Xanthium spinosum).
Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus and Rubus laciniaius).
Californian thistle (Cirsium arvense).
Common broom (Cytisus scoparius).
Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea).
Sweetbrier (Rosa eglanteria syn. Rosa rubiginosa).
That the special order comes into force on 1 October next
and be in substitution of any previous special order relating
to noxious weeds and any such previous special order is
hereby revoked and shall cease to have any effect after the
coming into force of this special order.

PURSUANT to regulation 14 of the Licensed Industries Regu-
lations 1957, notice is hereby given that the following appli-
cation will be considered at a public sitting of the Licensed
Industries Committee, to be held in the Board Room, Depart-
mental Building, Stout Street, Wellington, on Wednesday,
9 October, commencing at 2.30 p.m. Applicant and persons
likely to be materially affected by the decision of the com-
mittee should communicate with the Secretary, Licensed
Industries Committee, Department of Industries and Com-
merce, P.O. Box 2492, Wellington.
