Cancellation of the Vesting in the Kaitangata Borough Council
of a Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors,
and Citizens of the Borough of Kaitangata of the reserve for
the improvement and protection of the Kaitangata Creek
described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL these separate parcels of land in the Provincial District of
Otago, containing by admeasurement a total acreage of 1 acre
2 roods, more or less, situate in the Township of Kaitangata:
Firstly, all that portion to the west of Water Street opposite
Blocks XXXIV, XXIII, and XXIV of said town, containing by
admeasurements 2 roods, more or less. Bounded towards the
west and north-west by the Kaitangata Creek,
1880 links; and towards the north-east by Water Street, 1600
links.
Secondly, all that portion to the west of Water Street
opposite Blocks XXV and XXVI of said town, containing by
admeasurement 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the
west and north-west by the Kaitangata Creek, 1000 links;
and towards the north-east and south-east by Water Street,
950 links.
Thirdly, all that portion to the west of Water Street opposite
Block XXVII of said town, containing by admeasurement
12 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the west
and north-west by the Kaitangata Creek, 350 links; and
towards the south-east by Water Street, 340 links.
Fourthly, all that portion to the west of Water Street opposite
Block XXVIII of said town, containing by admeasurement
1 rood 20 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the south-
west, west, and north-west by the Kaitangata Creek, 800 links;
and towards the south-east by Water Street, 450 links.
Fifthly, all that portion to the west of Water Street opposite
Block XXIX of said town, containing by admeasurement
8 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the south-
west, west, and north-west by the Kaitangata Creek, 300
links; and towards the south-east by Water Street, 220 links.
Sixthly, all that portion to the west of Water Street opposite
site Blocks XXIX and XXX of said town, containing by
admeasurement 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the
south-west, west, and north-west by the Kaitangata Creek,
950 links; towards the north-east by Water Street, 830 links;
and towards the south-east by Water Street, 30 links; be all
the aforesaid linkages more or less.

in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,

Revocation of Approval to Issue Warrants of Fitness
PURSUANT to subclause (3) of regulation 52 of the Traffic
Regulations 1956, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes
the approval of the firm described in the Schedule hereto
to
issue warrants of fitness for motor vehicles.

Limited Speed Zone Declared
FIRSTLY, pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the
Minister of Transport hereby revokes that portion of the
Warrant dated the 6th day of October 1937* which relates to
a portion of High Street, within Masterton Borough, and
hereby excludes the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto from the limitation as to speed imposed by the said
section; and, secondly, pursuant to subclause (2) of regulation
27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956†, the Minister of Transport
hereby declares the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the said
regulation.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VIII, Waoku
Survey District, for an Automatic Telephone Exchange
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public
work, to wit, the construction of an automatic telephone
exchange, and for the purposes of that public work the land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and
notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Waima
and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected
by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of
the said land should, if they have any well grounded objec-
tions to the execution of the public work or to the taking of
the land, set forth the same in writing, and send the writing,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to
the Minister of Works at Wellington.

containing 18·3 perches, situated in Block VIII, Waoku Survey
District, Auckland R.D., and being part Kaiwhare No. 16

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the pro-
visions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land
described in the Schedule hereto for a public school; and
notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited in the post office at
Jacksons, and is there open for inspection; and that all per-
sons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they
have any well grounded objections to the taking of such land,
set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within
forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the
Minister of Works at Wellington.
