Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by section 34 of the Statutes Amendment Act 1940, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare that from and after the date hereof no mining privileges shall be granted or transferred in respect of the lands described in the Schedule hereto without the previous written consent of the Minister of Mines.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Removal of Restriction Against Alienation of Maori Land

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 254 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes an Order in Council made on 10 March 1943 and published in the Gazette, 18 March 1943, Volume I, page 321, prohibiting all alienations of the Maori land known as Matakana Island and Rangiwaea Island blocks, other than alienations in favour of the Crown.
