AUCKLAND METROPOLITAN DRAINAGE BOARD

SPECIAL ORDER

Sale of Land Owned by Board in Mount Roskill Borough
THE Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board, in exercise of the powers vested in it by section 9 of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Amendment Act 1955, doth hereby resolve, by special resolution intended to operate as a special order, to effect a sale of that piece of land set out in the Schedule hereto and described as Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 43280, being part of Allotment 70 of the Parish of Titirangi, being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 1364, folio 47, Auckland Registry, and situate at 3 Pascoe Street in the Borough of Mount Roskill.

The foregoing special order was made by way of a special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Board held on the 7th day of August 1957. It was publicly notified in the Auckland Star on the 10th and 24th days of August 1957, and confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the Board held on the 4th day of September 1957.

The common seal of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board was hereto affixed this 4th day of September 1957, in the presence of:

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Buildings Loan 1957 of £25,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 2nd day of September 1957:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) to be known as the Wellington City Buildings Loan 1957 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying out alterations to the Kings and Empire Chambers, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of twelve/eight-hundredths of a penny (12/800d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period not exceeding twenty (20) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off.”

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Electricity Loan No. 1, 1957, of £250,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 2nd day of September 1957:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of two hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£250,000) to be known as the Wellington City Electricity Loan No. 1, 1957, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the Council’s electrical distribution system, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and nineteen/eight-hundredths of a penny (119/800d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period not exceeding twenty (20) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off.”

TAURANGA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities’ Loans Act 1956 and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Tauranga Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the principal and interest and other charges in respect of the Tauranga Electric Power Board Electrical Extension Loan 1956, £100,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga Electric Power Board by special order under the Local Authorities’ Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of providing additional moneys for further reticulating the Tauranga Electric Power District, the Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2/7ths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Tauranga Electric Power District; and that such special rate shall be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Board on 24 July 1957.

Single copies of the Gazette as follows:
For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936 statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.

Orders should be placed with the Government Printer, Publications Branch, Wellington C.1. Separate copies of regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.
