Revoking a Warrant Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality and Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of the Transport Act 1949, Section 36, and Declaring Roads and Portions of Roads to be Limited Speed Zones for the Purposes of Regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956
Pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that Warrant dated the 19th day of April 1949* which relates to part of the area described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, and hereby declares the area described in the First Schedule to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section and, pursuant to subclause (2) of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956†, hereby declares the roads and portions of roads described in the Second Schedule hereto to be limited speed zones for the purposes of the said regulation.

All that road in Ashhurst Township consisting of the Ashhurst-Pohangina Main Highway No. 833 (from a point 5 chains south of Lincoln Street to Mulgrave Street).
SECOND SCHEDULE

The Ashhurst-Pohangina Main Highway No. 833 (from its intersection with Salisbury Road to a point 5 chains south of Lincoln Street).

Time and Place of Election by Fire Insurance Companies to Fill an Extraordinary Vacancy on the Fire Board for the Nelson United Urban Fire District
Pursuant to the provisions of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby appoints 12 noon on Tuesday, 24 September 1957, as the time and the offices of the Council of Fire and Accident Underwriters' Associations, 97 The Terrace, Wellington, as the place for the holding of a meeting of representatives of the insurance companies carrying on business in New Zealand, to elect a member to the fire board for the Nelson United Urban Fire District.

The Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957, Amendment No. 5
Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister of Industries and Commerce hereby gives the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957, Amendment No. 5, and shall be read together with and deemed to be part of the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

This notice shall come into force on the 6th day of September 1957.

The principal notice shall cease to apply in respect of the goods and services set out in the Schedule hereto.
-
The principal notice is hereby consequentially amended by omitting from the Schedule thereto all references to the goods and services referred to in the Schedule hereto in respect of which, pursuant to clause 3 hereof, the principal notice no longer applies.

Licensing Te Anau Boating Club to Use and Occupy a Part of the Bed of the Lake at Bluegum Point, Lake Te Anau, as a Site for a Jetty
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby authorises and permits the Te Anau Boating Club (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of the lake at Bluegum Point, Lake Te Anau, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10223 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a jetty thereon, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE

This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).
-
The jetty shall be lighted.
-
The term of this licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of September 1957.
