Portion of Public Reserve and Crown Land at Wellsford Set Apart for Railway Purposes

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of Public Reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, and the portion of Crown land described in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of September 1957.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve set apart: 9 acres 1 rood 12·4 perches.

Being part Section 31, Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District, shown on S.O. Plan 39291, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

Situated in Rodney County, North Auckland Land District.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 acre and 18 perches.

Being Section 57, Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District, shown on S.O. Plan 17528, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

Situated in Rodney County, North Auckland Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of August 1957.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Waimangaroa for the Purposes of a Road

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the Buller County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Hamilton City Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft.

SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the South Auckland Land District, City of Hamilton, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 4·83 perches, being part Allotments 281 and 282, Town of Hamilton East, situated in Block II, Hamilton Survey District.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access ways described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Waimairi County Council.
