Land Taken for Road in Block I, Waiopehu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of September 1957.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District, containing 1·4 perches, situated in Block I, Waiopehu Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Lot 66, D.P. 1319, being part Horowhenua No. 1; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 154144 (S.O. 23734) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of August 1957.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of September 1957.

FIRST SCHEDULE

LAND TAKEN FOR ROAD

ALL that piece of land in the South Auckland Land District containing 1 acre 1 rood 30·4 perches, situated in Block XIV, Rotoiti Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part Section 2; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 154145 (S.O. 38170) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

SECOND SCHEDULE

LAND TAKEN FOR THE USE, CONVENIENCE, OR ENJOYMENT OF A ROAD

ALL those pieces of land in the South Auckland Land District, situated in Block XIV, Rotoiti Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Blocks XI and XIV, Waihua Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the East Coast Main Trunk Railway and is not now required for that purpose), shall, upon publication hereof in the Gazette, become road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the National Roads Board and shall be maintained by the said Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
