Removing Maori Warden from Office Under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945
Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 11 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby declares that the following Maori Warden, appointed under the said Act, is hereby removed from office.

Appointing Maori Wardens Under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945
Pursuant to section 11 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby appoints the persons named in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be wardens for the tribal districts shown in the second column of the said Schedule.

Vice-Consul of the Netherlands at Christchurch
His Excellency the Governor-General directs it to be notified that the jurisdiction of the Vice-Consul of the Netherlands at Christchurch, Mr George Norton Francis, has been extended to include the Province of Westland. The Vice-Consul formerly had jurisdiction in the Province of Canterbury only.

Port Safety Inspector Appointed
Pursuant to section 241 (1) of the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby appoints
Angus Thomas Vangioni Campbell
to be a Port Safety Inspector, having the powers conferred on an Inspector of Gear by the General Harbour (Safe Working Loan) Regulations 1935, and the powers conferred on a Surveyor of Ships by those regulations and by the General Harbour Regulations 1954, except in respect of any lifting machinery or hoist or other cargo-handling machine or winch.
