Order Made by the Army Board Under Section 6 (2) (b) of the Visiting Forces Act 1939 (New Zealand)
PURSUANT to section 6 (2) (b) of the Visiting Forces Act 1939, the Army Board hereby place at the disposal of the Service Authorities of the Commonwealth of Australia every member of the military forces of Her Majesty raised in the Dominion of New Zealand who is posted for duty with, serving on the strength of, or is on loan or attached to the military forces of Her Majesty raised in the Commonwealth of Australia, or is on shore in that country.
Provided that in the application of the Defence Act to members of the New Zealand Army to whom this order applies, the following modifications and adaptations shall apply:
(1) When any Court-Martial is convened for the trial of a member of the New Zealand Army, the maximum practicable number of officers of the New Zealand Army shall be appointed members of the Court-Martial and no member of the New Zealand Army will be tried by Court-Martial unless at least one officer of the New Zealand Army is appointed a member of the Court-Martial.
(2) No sentence of death passed by a Court-Martial shall be carried into effect unless the infliction of that punishment is approved by the Governor-General of New Zealand.
(3) A sentence of cashiering, dismissal, discharge with ignominy, or discharge imposed by a Court-Martial will be confirmed only to the extent approved by the Adjutant-General of the New Zealand Army.
(4) The punishment awarded to any member of the New Zealand Army shall not be more severe than that permitted by New Zealand military law for the same offence.

Order Under Section 9 (1) (a) of the Defence (Visiting Forces) Act 1939–1950 Attaching Members of the New Zealand Military Forces to the Military Forces of the Commonwealth of Australia
WHEREAS it is provided by paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section 9 of the Defence (Visiting Forces) Act 1939–1950, that the Naval Board, the Military Board, or the Air Board, as the case may be, may attach temporarily to any part of the Defence Force, any member of a Home Force or a Dominion Force who is placed at their disposal for that purpose by the Service Authorities of the United Kingdom or the Dominion:
And whereas, by an order dated the 11th day of December 1956, the Army Board of the Dominion of New Zealand placed at the disposal of the Service Authorities of the Commonwealth of Australia every member of the military forces of Her Majesty raised in the Dominion of New Zealand who is posted for duty with, serving on the strength of, or is on loan or attached to the military forces of Her Majesty raised in the Commonwealth of Australia, or is on shore in that country:
And whereas it is deemed expedient by the Military Board to attach those members of the military forces of Her Majesty raised in the Dominion of New Zealand to the military forces of the Commonwealth of Australia:
Now, therefore, the Military Board doth hereby attach temporarily to the military forces of the Commonwealth of Australia every member of the military forces of Her Majesty raised in the Dominion of New Zealand who is posted for duty with, serving on the strength of, or is on loan or attached to the military forces of Her Majesty raised in the Commonwealth of Australia, or is on shore in that country.
