WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Counties
Act 1956.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waimairi County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to take for the purposes of road the land described in the
Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that a
plan showing the land required to be taken is deposited at
the public office of the said Council, situated at North Road,
Papanui, where it lies open for public inspection (without
fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours; all persons
affected shall, if they have any objection to the taking of the
said land, set forth in writing such objection and send such
writing within forty days from the date of the first publication
of this notice, addressed to the County Clerk of the Waimairi
County Council at the office of the said Council.

SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situated in Block XI of the Christ-
church Survey District containing 361/10 perches or there-
abouts, being part of Rural Section 188, and being part of
the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume
384, folio 19, coloured sepia on the said plan.

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wellsford Sewerage Loan No. 1
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and every
other power in that behalf enabling it, the Rodney County
Council resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £6,000 authorised to be raised by the Rodney
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the pur-
pose of providing a sewerage system for a portion of the
County Town of Wellsford, the said Rodney County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2.12104d. in the
pound, upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unim-
proved value) of all rateable property of the Wellsford
Sewerage No. 1 Special Rating Area comprising the follow-
ing properties: Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9 on D.P. 25483 of
Section 9; Lot 6 on D.P. 32154 of Section 9; Lots 1, 2, and 3
on D.P. 26038 of Section 9; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,
11, and 12 on D.P. 29016 of Section 26; Lot 4 on D.P. 1618
of Section 9; Lots 1 and 2 on D.P. 25996 of Section 9; all D.P.
27662, being part Section 9; Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 on D.P.
19191 of Section 9; part D.P. 21995 of Section 9; Lots 1, 2,
3, and 4 on D.P. 25259 of Section 9; Lots 10 and 11 on D.P.
29176 of Section 9; Lots 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and part 9 on
D.P. 23210 of Section 26; part Lot 2 on D.P. 28233 of Section
26; part Lot 1 on D.P. 9904 of Section 31; Lots 1 and 2 on
D.P. 31019 of Section 31; railway land leased under leases
L. 22460, L. 26086, L. 26101, L. 24573, L. 24793, L. 23047,
L. 23046, L. 23130, Section 77; 2 acres and 6 perches of
Section 31A; 1 rood of Section part 31, and railway land; all
situated in Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District; and that the
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
July in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Rodney County Council held on the 25th day of June 1957.

MARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Marton
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £1,500 authorised to be raised by the
Marton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of erecting one block of two (double units)
pensioners' flats, the said Marton Borough Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of 0.055d. in the pound upon
the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of
the Borough of Marton; and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL
Resolution Making Special Rate
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Feilding
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the instalments of
principal and interest on a loan of £3,000 authorised to be
raised by the Feilding Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting
a house thereon, the said Feilding Borough Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought five three
five pence (0.0535d.) in the pound upon the rateable value
(on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property
in the Borough of Feilding; and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring special rate during the currency of
such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid
off."
The above resolution was passed by the Feilding Borough
Council at a meeting held on the 8th day of July 1957.

OTAKI BOROUGH COUNCIL
OTAKI BOROUGH COUNCIL WAERENGA SUBDIVISION LOAN 1957,
£5,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1956, the Otaki Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by the
Otaki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of purchasing part Lot 1, D.P. 16562, being part
Waerenga No. 5, Tutangatakino 5 and 9, part Harurunui
No. 1, part Pahianui A No. 1, and part Section 5 of Te
Tahuna No. 1, all such parcels being in Block IX, Waitohu
Survey District, Wellington Land District, for subdivision into
allotments for housing purposes and constructing street works,
the said Otaki Borough Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of one-ninth of a penny in the pound upon the
rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all
rateable property of the Borough of Otaki; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the cur-
rency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
August in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of five years, or until the loan is paid
fully off, and that a copy of such resolution under seal be
forwarded to the Bank of New Zealand."
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Otaki Borough Council at a monthly
meeting of the Council held on the 10th day of July 1957.
