Road Closed by Order of the Maori Land Court

PURSUANT to section 425 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Court has made an order, dated 29 November 1956, firstly, declaring the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a closed road and, secondly, amending the existing title for Opuatia 3A 6D Block, Block I, Rangiri Survey District, so as to include within the boundaries of the said land the portion of stopped road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of public road in the Raglan County in the South Auckland Land District, situated in Block I, Rangiri Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 32·3 perches, more or less, being formerly portion of Opuatia 3 and now adjoining Opuatia 3A 6D and public road in Proclamations 5806 and S. 68304, Auckland Registry, as shown on S.O. Plan 36890 deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon edged red.

Declaring Land to be Subject to the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Bay of Islands Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that, on and from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

New Zealand Honey Marketing Authority Election (Notice No. Ag. 6324)

PURSUANT to clause (13) of the Schedule to the Honey Marketing Authority Regulations 1953, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons deemed eligible to vote for the election of two producers’ representatives to the New Zealand Honey Marketing Authority, together with the number of votes allotted to each voter, will be open for inspection during official hours at the following places, viz., Department of Agriculture, Head Office, Wellington and at Auckland; also at the following post offices: Kaikohe, Dargaville, Kaitaia, Whangarei, Warkworth, Huntly, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Te Aroha, Whakatane, Gisborne, Wairoa, Napier, Hastings, Waipukurau, Dannevirke, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Levin, Ekatahuna, Masterton, Blenheim, Nelson, Motueka, Kaikoura, Westport, Greymouth, Hokitika, Culverden, Amberley, Christchurch, Ashburton, Geraldine, Timaru, Waimate, Oamaru, Roxburgh, Alexandra, Cromwell, Dunedin, Balclutha, Gore, and Invercargill.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of fourteen days from 24 July 1957.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture, Private Bag, Auckland C.1. Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on the 14th day of August 1957, and must be accompanied by a deposit of £3.
