THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

Declaring Portion of Street to be a Limited Speed Zone for the Purposes of Regulation 27 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1956

PURSUANT to subclause (2) of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Minister of Transport hereby declares the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the said regulation.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Kaikohe Borough--

The Kaikohe-Maungatapere Main Highway No. 563 (from a point 26 chains south of its junction with the Dargaville-Ohaeawai via Waipoua Forest State Highway No. 36 to the southern boundary of Kaikohe Borough).

Declaration of Approved Vendors of Motor Vehicles for Purposes of Registration (No. 4)

PURSUANT to subclause (4) of regulation 11A of the Motor Vehicles Registration and Licensing Regulations 1949,* the Minister of Transport hereby (1) declares that the companies, persons, and firms described in the First Schedule hereto shall, to the extent therein described, be approved vendors of motor vehicles, in addition to those already so declared† for the purposes of registration of motor vehicles in terms of the said regulation; and (2) revokes as approved vendors of motor vehicles the companies, persons, and firms described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XII, Omapere Survey District, for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Ohaeawai and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing, and send the writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
