CORRIGENDUM

In the notice releasing land from the provisions of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Poroporo Development Scheme) published in the Gazette, 14 March 1957, No. 22, page 483, for the area of "1 acre 1 rood 43 perches" read "1 acre 1 rood 4·3 perches".

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of provisional State forest reserve No. 1707 set apart by Proclamation dated the 23rd day of November 1931, and published in Gazette, 26 November 1931, Volume III, page 3386, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Reserve 1707 (formerly part Rural Sections 2903 and 3269), situated in Block XI, Mawheranui Survey District: Area, 243 acres, more or less.
As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 10/98/35A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of June 1957.

Declaring Lands in North Auckland Land District, Vested in the Auckland Education Board as Sites for Public Schools, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Auckland Education Board as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
LOT 8, D.P. 12301, being part Clendons Grant, situated in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District: Area, 1 rood 7·2 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 481, folio 252.

Also part Allotment 56 of Suburban Section 2, Parish of Opaheke, situated in Block VIII, Drury Survey District: Area, 3 acres and 19·1 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 580, folio 7 (limited as to parcels and title).
