Withdrawing Exemption from Headlight Requirements
Pursuant to regulation 49 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Minister of Transport hereby withdraws as from 28th February 1958 the approval† for use in terms of regulation 35 and regulation 36 of the said regulations of the special type of lighting equipment fitted to the vehicles described in the Schedule hereto, namely two side lights and one centrally placed headlight in a permanently dipped position.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Revoking a Warrant Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality and Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of the Transport Act 1949, Section 36
Pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that Warrant dated the 16th day of July 1956* which relates to part of the area described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby declares the area described in the said Schedule to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 30 miles an hour fixed by the said section.

ALL those roads at Hornby hereinafter described:
Amuri Street, Aurora Street, Gilberthorpes Road, Hei Hei Road, Matangi Street, Manurere Street, Ngata Place, Ranui Street, Taiwi Crescent, Taurima Street, Tinokore Street, Wycola Avenue, Roberts Road (from its junction with Gilberthorpes Road to a point 17 chains north-west of the junction).

Declaring Portion of Road to be Limited-speed Zone for the Purposes of Regulation 27 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1956
Pursuant to subclause (2) of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,
the Minister of Transport hereby declares the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a limited-speed zone for the purposes of the said regulation.
