Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for gravel purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the persons named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being testing officers under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1956

Pursuant to clause (2) of regulation 41 and regulation 63 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Minister of Transport hereby approves for the purposes of the said regulations red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Red reflectors approximately 3½ in. by 1¼ in. incorporated in Model No. 565 tail-lamp assemblies and marked on the rear of the mounting flange BMAC LTD, London, B.S. 2515 Grade 2 (British Standards mark) GLASS FOREIGN. Manufactured by BMAC Ltd, London, England.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them while they are under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—City of Palmerston North (Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Palmerston North City Council in the interests of the Palmerston North City district scheme under subsection (2) of the said section, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of August 1958 inclusive is hereby extended to the said 1st day of August 1958.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land, Subject to a Building-line Restriction
