Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Declaring Portion of Street to be a Limited Speed Zone for the Purposes of Regulation 27 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1956
Pursuant to subclause (2) of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, the Minister of Transport hereby declares the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the said regulation.

Licensing Alan Rudge to Use and Occupy Part of the Foreshore in Whangaroa Harbour as a Site for a Septic Tank Outlet
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Alan Rudge (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in Whangaroa Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10184 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a septic tank outlet as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of these regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of May 1957.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be one pound (£1) and the annual sum so payable one pound (£1).

Law Practitioners Act 1955
Pursuant to the Law Practitioners Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Law Society, on the 7th day of March 1957, ordered that the name of Lloyd Peace be struck off the roll of solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, and that he pay the sum of £95 11s. 9d. investigation costs to the Law Society of the District of Auckland, and £31 10s. costs to the New Zealand Law Society.

Sale of Unclaimed Property
It is hereby notified that unclaimed property in the hands of the police at Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Gisborne; New Plymouth, Napier, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Wellington, Nelson, Greymouth, Christchurch, Timaru, Dunedin, and Invercargill stations will, if not claimed before Saturday, 8 June 1957, be sold thereafter by public auction.
