At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 1st day of

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves
of the resolution passed by. the Wellington City Council on
the 10th day of October 1956 and set out in the First
Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of
street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Wellington City Council, being the local authority having
control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution declares
that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act
1928 shall not apply to the northern side of the portion of
Ghuznee Street adjoining part Section 179, Town of Wellington,
being all (or part) of the land in certificate of title, Volume
486, folio 42, Wellington Land Registry; as is more particularly shown on the plan annexed hereto.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE northern side of all that portion of street, situated in
the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as
Ghuznee Street, fronting part Section 179, Town of Wellington;
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 153217 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The South-western Side of Portion of Haining Street, in the
City of Wellington, Exempted from the Provisions of
Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves
of the resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on
the 17th day of December 1956 and set out in the First
Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of
street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Wellington City Council, being the local authority having
control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution declares
that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act
1928 shall not apply to the south-western side of the portion
of Haining Street adjoining part Section 237, Town of
Wellington, being all (or part) of the land in certificate of
title, Volume 118, folio 171, Wellington Registry; as is more
particularly shown on the plan annexed hereto.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE south-western side of all that portion of street, situated
in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known
as Haining Street, fronting part Section 237, Town of
Wellington; as the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 153206 deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Varying a Condition as to Setting Back the Building Line of
Portion of Garfield Street, in the City of Auckland, Imposed
by Order in Council Under Section 117 of the Public Works
Act 1908

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 1st day of
May 1957
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 6 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
amends the Order in Council dated the 25th day of July 1921,
and published in Gazette, 4 August 1921, Volume II page 2041,
and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No.
5180, exempting, inter alia, the northern side of portion of
Garfield Street in the City of Auckland from the provisions
of section 117 of the Public Works Act 1908, subject to a
condition as to the building line, by varying the condition as
to the building line imposed by the said Order in Council,
so that no building or part of a building shall at any time
be erected on Lot 1, D.P. 44032, within a distance of 20 ft.
6 in. from the centre line of the said portion of Garfield
Street.

Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents
to the Eyre County Council stopping the portion of road
described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of road in the Canterbury Land District con-
taining 1 acre 2 roods 17Β·7 perches, situated in Blocks II and
III, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., and ad-
joining part Lot 4, D.P. 3498, part Rural Section 5387, Lot 2,
D.P. 5955, part Rural Sections 5387 and 8779, and Lot 3,
D.P. 5955, part Rural Section 8896; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152949 (S.O.
9065) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
