Ltd. held on the 16th day of April 1957, a resolution that the company be wound up voluntarily by the members thereof was passed and Robert Charles MacInnes, of the firm of Messrs McCulloch, Butler and Spence, public accountants, Queen Street, Hastings, was appointed to be liquidator of the company.

NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS

Pursuant to sections 284 and 362 (8) of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that South End News Ltd. (under receivership), by minute-book entry dated 24 April 1957, passed as an extraordinary resolution:

“1. That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue in business and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.

“2. That Tom Keith Cowan, public accountant, of Dunedin, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

Notice is therefore given that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held, pursuant to sections 284 and 362 (8) of the Companies Act 1955, at the offices of T. K. and F. W. Cowan, 36 Dowling Street, Dunedin, on Thursday, 2 May 1957, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company's affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.
