DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waterworks Extension Loan 1957 of £100,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £100,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the water reticulation to the Brockville and Forrester housing blocks and erecting service reservoirs, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·128925d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first (1st) day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Silverstream Race Loan 1957 of £36,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £36,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the cost of piping the Silverstream Race from Wingatui Road through the Invermay property to the Flagstaff Creek Syphon, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·046413d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first (1st) day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Brockville Development Loan 1957 of £85,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £85,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying out roading development in the Brockville housing block, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·109586d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first (1st) day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Learners' Swimming Pools Loan 1957 of £17,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £17,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the construction of learners’ swimming pools, including provision for heating, filtration, and sterilisation of the water, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·021917d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first (1st) day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Tokoroa Sewerage Loan 1956, £142,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and its amendments, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, repayment of principal, and other charges on a loan of £142,000 authorised to be raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing a sewerage system for the Tokoroa Sewerage Special Rating Area, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one decimal nought two of a penny (1·02d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Tokoroa Sewerage Loan Special Rating Area described in the Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 17th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TOKOROA SEWERAGE LOAN SPECIAL RATING AREA
ALL that area situate in Block VIII, Patetere Survey District, in the County of Matamata, included within the following boundaries:
Commencing at the intersection of the western boundary of the Putaruru-Kinleith railway with the Whakauru Stream and proceeding south-easterly by the said Whakauru Stream to the Tirau-Wairakei (No. 41) State Highway; thence southerly by the said State highway to the Maraetai Road; thence westerly by the said Maraetai Road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1038 on an undeposited plan; thence by a right line to and along the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot 1038 to the southernmost corner of Lot 1039 on the same plan; thence by the south-western and north-western boundaries of the said Lot 1039 to Esk Avenue; thence westward by the southern boundary of Esk Avenue to the eastern boundary of Lot 1036 on the plan aforesaid; thence by the south-eastern, south-western, and north-western boundaries of the said Lot 1036 to Esk Avenue; thence northerly by the western boundary of Esk Avenue to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1030 on the plan aforesaid; thence south-westerly by the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot 1030 to the eastern boundary of Lot 2 on D.P. 32554; thence northerly by the eastern boundary of Lot 2 on D.P. 32554 to the southern boundary of Lot 967 on D.P. S. 2754 (Recreation Reserve); thence by the southern boundary of the said Lot 967 to Clyde Road; thence northerly by the western boundary of Clyde Road to Lot 914 on D.P. S. 2854 (Road Reserve); thence westerly by the southern boundary of the said Lot 914 and an unnamed street and continuing by a right line to the western boundary of Papanui Street; thence southerly by the western boundary of Papanui Street to the southern boundary of Lot 44 on D.P. S. 2191; thence westerly by the southern boundaries of Lot 44 on D.P. S. 2191 and Lots 11 and 22 on D.P. S. 3162 to the eastern boundary of Lot 35 on D.P. S. 3162; thence northerly and westerly by the eastern and northern boundaries of the said Lot 35 to the eastern boundary of Arthur Street; thence northerly by the eastern boundary of Arthur Street to the northern boundary of Duke Street; thence westerly by the northern boundary of Duke Street; thence westerly by the northern boundary of Duke Street to the western boundary of Lot 40 on D.P.
