Results of Elections by Fire-insurance Companies to Fill Positions on the Fire Boards for the Porirua, Rotorua, and Waihi United Urban Fire Districts, and on the Fire Committees for the Fairlie, Helensville, Howick, Mount Maunganui, Raetihi, Roxburgh, and Waiuku Urban Fire Districts
Pursuant to the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice of the following results of the elections held on 12 April 1957 by the fire-insurance companies carrying on business in New Zealand to elect members on the Fire Boards for the Porirua, Rotorua, and Waihi United Urban Fire Districts and on the Fire Committees for the Fairlie, Helensville, Howick, Mount Maunganui, Raetihi, Roxburgh and Waiuku Urban Fire Districts.

Licensing William Arthur Baker to Use and Occupy Part of the Foreshore at Helensville in Kaipara Harbour as a Site for a Grid
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licences and permits William Arthur Baker (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Helensville in Kaipara Harbour as shown on plan marked M.D. 7716 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a grid as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee, upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The term of the licence shall be five years from the 1st day of April 1957.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).
- The Master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said grid shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.
