Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to Raise a Loan of £86,500 for Water Supply.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Paeroa taken on the 26th day of March 1957 on the proposal of the Paeroa Borough Council to borrow the sum of eighty-six thousand five hundred pounds (£86,500) for the purpose of providing an improved water supply for the borough:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ... 164
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 82

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
