Paradise duck (provided that these birds may not be hunted or killed in the area bounded as follows: Commencing at a point at the junction of Coal Creek with the Grey River; thence in an easterly direction for approximately 2 miles to Gentle Annie Bluff; thence in a northerly direction in a straight line for a distance of approximately 2 miles to Camp Railway Crossing; thence in a westerly direction along the foot of the Rapahoe Range to the junction of Coal Creek and the Grey River, the point of commencement)

Closed game area (2) relating to the Whangarei Acclimatisation District as published in the Supplement dated 28 February 1955 to the Gazette of 24 February 1955 at page 319 is hereby amended by deleting the words “Thomas J. Griffin” where it appears in the first line thereof and substituting therefor the words “R. K. Trimmer”.

(19) The property of Messrs Suvalko Brothers, consisting of 305 acres 2 roods 14 perches, being Allotment W.44, Ruakaka Parish, also all D.P. 7220 and part Lot 19, D.P. 919, of Lots 63, 64, and 65, Ruakaka Parish, Block X, Ruakaka Survey District.

Rules of the Gisborne - East Coast Acclimatisation Society Approved

PURSUANT to section 29 (4) of the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the rules of the Gisborne - East Coast Acclimatisation Society have been approved by him under that subsection.

Amendment of Standard Specification

PURSUANT to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 22 March 1957, amended the under-mentioned standard specification by the incorporation of the amendment shown hereunder:

Number and Title of Specification: N.Z.S.S. 95: Model Building By-law, Part V: Reinforced and plain concrete construction.

Amendment: No. 1, March 1957.

Standards Act 1941—D 5322 Draft Amendment to New Zealand Standard Specification (N.Z.S.S. 5) for Engineers’ Files and Rasps

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft amendment to N.Z.S.S. 5 is being circulated.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies free of charge from the N.Z. Standards Institute, 201 Lambton Quay (P.O. Box 195), Wellington C.1.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 12 April 1957.
