PURSUANT to subclause (2) of regulation 27 of the Traffic
Regulations 1956,* the Minister of Transport hereby declares
the roads and portions of roads described in the Schedule
hereto to be limited speed zones for the purposes of the said
regulation.

Exemption from Headlight Requirements
PURSUANT to regulation 49 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,*
the Minister of Transport hereby approves for use until 28
February 1958 in terms of regulation 35 of the said regulations
the type of lighting equipment fitted to the Morrison electric
motor-vehicle, namely, two side lights and one centrally placed
headlight in a permanently dipped position.

Open Seasons for Game in Certain Acclimatisation Districts
IMPORTANT--The Supplement dated 28 February 1955 to
the Gazette of 24 February 1955 contains full details of
special conditions and closed game areas, all of which directly
affect the shooting season. These special conditions and closed
game areas apply, subject to amendments thereto contained
in the game season notification published in the Gazette of
28 March 1956 and in this notification, to the 1957 open
season for game.
Acclimatisation societies are again requested to ensure that
all shooters are placed in possession of a full statement of
their rights, duties, and obligations during the shooting season.
PURSUANT to the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Internal
Affairs declares an open season for game of the kinds specified
herein in relation to each district subject to the special con-
ditions and closed game areas specified in relation to each
district as published in the Supplement dated 28 February 1955
to the Gazette of 24 February 1955 and to the amendments
to those closed game areas and special conditions published in
the Gazette of 28 March 1956 and to the amendments made
herein. The attention of all sportsmen and others is drawn to
the provisions of the said Act as set forth in the Third
Schedule published in the aforementioned Supplement to the
Gazette of 24 February 1955.
