NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given that the Clifton County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road through parts of the Ngatirahiri 7A, 7B, and 7D Blocks and through parts of the bed of the Waiau Stream, and for the purposes of such public work proposes to take:

1. 38 perches, more or less, being part of the Ngatirahiri 7A Block and part of the land in C.T., Volume 116, folio 235 (Taranaki Registry).

2. 1 acre and 35 perches, more or less, being part of the Ngatirahiri 7B Block and part of the land in C.T., Volume 17, folio 35 (Taranaki Registry).

3. 2 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being part of the Ngatirahiri 7D Block and part of the land in C.T., Volume 110, folio 12 (Taranaki Registry).

4. 7 perches, more or less, being parts of the Waiau Stream bed.

A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid, with such lands thereon coloured blue, sepia, and orange respectively, is deposited for public inspection at the office of the said Clifton County Council, in Queen Street, Waitara.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said lands and to send such writing within forty days of the 22nd day of March 1957, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the Clifton County Council at its office aforesaid.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Housing Improvement Act 1945, and their respective amendments, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

Notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute certain public works, namely in that part of the City of Wellington for the purposes of Part II of the Housing Improvement Act 1945, at Adelaide Road, Drummond Street, and King Street, in the City of Wellington, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
