FAWCETT, Director-General of Agriculture.Notice to Make Returns of Land Under the Land andIncome Tax Act 1954Pursuant to the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, the Commissioner of Inland Revenue hereby gives notice as follows:1.A return of land held as at noon on 31 March 1957 isrequired from every person and company, whether a taxpayeror not, being the owner of land in New Zealand within themeaning of the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, where thetotal unimproved value exceeds £3,000.2.Returns are required to be delivered or forwarded to thedistrict office of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, where the taxpayer's records are filed, not later than8 April 1957.3.Return forms are available at all district offices of theTaxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, and at all post offices.4.Any person or company failing to furnish a returnwithin the prescribed time is liable to a fine not exceeding£100 and not less than £2.Dated at Wellington this 15th day of March 1957.F.
