Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 25th day of March 1957.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District containing 17 acres 32 perches, situated in Block VI, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., and being part Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 8875, being part Rural Section 533; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152909 (S.O. 9044) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land first described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 14th day of August 1956, and the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 29th day of August 1956, and the land thirdly described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 19th day of September 1956, and the land fourthly described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 14th day of December 1956, subject as to Lots 28, 29, 41 to 53, 75 to 85, 114 to 120, 143, 144, 154 to 169, 176 to 186, and 204 (all inclusive) on plan P.W.D. 152870 (H.D.C. 31211) to the building-line restriction imposed by notice No. 448758, Canterbury Land Registry.
