Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Blocks III, IV, and VII, Rolleston Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes, and shall vest in the North Canterbury Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of March 1957.

ALL those pieces of land in the Canterbury Land District, situated in Block VI, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Lower Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of March 1957.

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 2·1 perches, situated in the City of Lower Hutt, being part Lot 5, D.P. 6494, being part Section 25, Hutt District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152950 (S.O. 23565) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
