Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work near Bonny Glen and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 18th day of March 1957.

FIRST SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 2 acres. Being part Section 54, Turakina District, comprised and described in conveyance No. 34602. (D.I. 32/300). (Wellington Deeds Register.) Situated in Block XIII, Wangaehu Survey District, Rangitikei County. In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12985 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 0·1 perch. Being part Railway land in Memorial of Proclamation 25888, being part Subdivision 16 of Section 54, Turakina District. Situated in Block XIII, Wangaehu Survey District, Rangitikei County. (S.O. 20740.) In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6572 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia. Dated at Wellington this 6th day of March 1957.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work at Mangere and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 18th day of March 1957.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 9 acres 2 roods 15·4 perches. Being part railway land in Proclamation 9997. Being part Lot 3, D.P. 26416, being part Fairburn's Old Land Claim 269A. Situated in Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, Manukau County. (S.O. 35207.) In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9868 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange. Dated at Wellington this 6th day of March 1957.

Licensing Percival Eric Williams and Hugh Henry Haswell Williams, Trading Under the Style or Title of Hokianga Ferries, to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Rawene, in Hokianga Harbour, as a Site for a Store
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Percival Eric Williams and Hugh Henry Haswell Williams, trading under the style or title of Hokianga Ferries (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Rawene, in Hokianga Harbour, marked as site No. 4 as shown on plans marked M.D. 4288 and 4293 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a store as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of March 1957.
  3. The premium payable by the licensees shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10). Dated at Wellington this 21st day of February 1957.
