Retailers' Licences Under the Sales Tax Act 1932-33 Granted, Surrendered, or Revoked
Pursuant to the Sales Tax Act 1932-33, the Comptroller of Customs hereby gives notice that licences to act as manufacturing retailers have been granted to the licensees mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and that the licences to act as manufacturing retailers granted to the licensees mentioned in the Second Schedule hereto have been surrendered or revoked.

Music Teachers' Registration Act 1928-Election of Registration Board
Two registered teachers elected to the Board to represent each of the Electoral Districts of Auckland (comprising the Provincial District of Auckland), Wellington (comprising the Provincial Districts of Wellington, Hawke's Bay, and Taranaki), Canterbury (comprising the Provincial Districts of Canterbury, Marlborough, Nelson, and Westland), and Otago (comprising the Provincial District of Otago, including Southland).
I hereby give notice that I have received the following valid nominations for the Auckland District:
Henry George Cook Patrick Towsey
and as the number of nominations does not exceed the number of vacancies, I hereby declare the said Henry George Cook and Patrick Towsey elected to the Music Teachers' Registration Board for two years commencing 1 January 1957.
I give further notice that, in a ballot to elect two registered teachers of the Wellington District to the Music Teachers' Registration Board, the candidates duly nominated received the number of votes set opposite their names hereunder:

Sale of Unclaimed Property
It is hereby notified that unclaimed property in the hands of the Police at Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Invercargill Stations will, if not claimed before Saturday, 9 February 1957, be sold thereafter by public auction.
Particulars as to the time and place of sale may be obtained from the Assistant Commissioner, Superintendent, or Inspector of Police in charge of the district.

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954-Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union
Pursuant to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Canterbury, Marlborough, Nelson, and Westland Radio Traders' Industrial Union of Employers, Registered No. 1808, situated at Christchurch, is hereby cancelled as from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954-Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Association
Pursuant to section 86 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the New Zealand Federated Building Trade Industrial Association of Workers, Registered No. 1949, situated at Wellington, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.
