Fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, mushrooms, and nuts (ex-ship) grown and packed in New Zealand (including Cook Islands or Niue) 17s. 8d. per ton, including handling at ship’s side and sorting at Christchurch.
Addington Fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, mushrooms, and nuts (ex-ship) grown and packed in New Zealand (including Cook Islands or Niue) 17s. 8d. per ton, including handling at ship’s side and sorting at Christchurch.
Firestone Tyre and Rubber Co.’s private siding at Papanui Classes C and D, direct ex-ship (not requiring to be sorted at Christchurch). Owner’s risk £1 0s. 9d. per ton, including handling at ship's side. Charges to be computed on measurement at 40 cubic feet per ton, or on actual weight, whichever is greater.
Dunedin Imported fruit or vegetables £6 2s. 4d. per ton, including handling at ship's side and sorting at Christchurch. Minimum quantity, 10 tons per consignment.
Invercargill Imported fruit or vegetables £7 10s. 1d. per ton, including handling at ship’s side and sorting at Christchurch. Minimum quantity, 5 tons per consignment.
Woolston Dunedin Empty tins Class C. Minimum quantity, 3 tons per four-wheeled wagon, n.o.s., and 3 tons 15 cwt. per Lc or Xc wagon.
Christchurch Any station in the South Island Ice-cream conveyed by express or passenger trains when accommodation is available in the Guards' vans of such trains Classified C rate.
Any station in the South Island Impregnated or kiln-dried timber (previously conveyed by rail from West Coast stations to stations Christchurch, Hornby, or Papanui inclusive) Class K less 20 per cent.
Stations Christchurch, Hornby, Papanui inclusive Culverden Classes C, D, E, and E plus 50 per cent (excepting explosives, benzine, and similar oils in owner's tank-wagons). Owner's risk £6 per four-wheeled wagon containing not more than 4 tons. Any tonnage in excess of 4 tons per four-wheeled wagon will be charged at the rate of £1 10s. 0d. per ton. Owners to load and unload. Minimum, five four-wheeled wagons per week.
Waiau Benzine, kerosene, fuel oil, lubricating oils and greases, packed. Owner’s risk £2 19s. 9d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 6 tons per consignment. Owners to load and unload.
