Station I; thence due east to the Kawarau River; thence down the middle of the Kawarau River and up the middle of Roaring Meg Stream (Kirtleburn) to the northern boundary of Run 633 in Cromwell Survey District; thence westerly along the generally northern boundaries of Runs 633 and 632 to the Cardrona River; thence up the middle of that river to and along the generally north-eastern boundary of Run 25 in Knuckle Peak Survey District to Trig. Station C; thence north-westerly along a right line to Mount Cardrona and a right line to Mount Motatapu in Block X, Motatapu Survey District; thence along the eastern boundary of Run 444 to Treble Cone; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Run 444 aforesaid, Run 22, Run 458, and Run 468, to a point on the summit of the Southern Alps; thence north-easterly along the summit of the Southern Alps to Mount Strauchon, the point of commencement.

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the middle of the mouth of the Taieri River, being a point on the boundary of the Electoral District of Mornington, hereinbefore described, thence proceeding north-westerly and westerly generally along the boundary of that electoral district to and along southern boundary of the Electoral District of Otago Central, hereinbefore described, to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Chatton Survey District; thence southerly to and along the eastern boundary of that survey district to the middle of the Maitland East Road; thence westerly generally along the middle of that road to and along the middle of the Chatton-Maitland Road to and southerly along the middle of the road forming the generally eastern boundaries of Sections 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40, Block I, Chatton Survey District, and Section 1A, Block I, Waikaka Survey District, to and south-westerly along the middle of the Symes and Fowler Road to the southern boundary of Block I aforesaid; thence westerly along that boundary to the left bank of the Mataura River; thence southerly along the left bank of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 306, Block LXX, Hokonui Survey District; thence to and along the southern boundary of Section 306 aforesaid, and its production to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1 on D.P. 34; thence north-westerly generally along the south-western side of the Waimea Plains Branch Railway to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 15, Block III, on D.P. 70; thence due west along a right line across the Gore-Lumsden State Highway, and along the southern boundary of Lot 15 aforesaid, to the north-western corner of Lot 32, on D.P. 63; thence due north along a right line for a distance of 250 links; thence due west along a right line running parallel to Norton Street to a public road forming the south-eastern boundary of Lot 9, Block III, on D.P. 70; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern side of the said public road to Norton Street; thence due west along a right line across the said public road to the southern corner of the said Lot 9; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said Lot 9 to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 3276; thence due south along a right line to and along the western boundary of the said Lot 1, and that boundary produced to the middle of a public road forming the southern boundary of the said Lot 1; thence easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of part Lot 10, Block II, on the said D.P. 70; thence due south to and along the eastern boundaries of part Lots 10, 11, 12, and 13, Block II, on the said D.P. 70, to the south-eastern corner of the said part Lot 13; thence due west along the southern boundary of the said part Lot 13 to the south-western corner thereof; thence due north along the western boundary of the said part Lot 13 to the southern boundary of Lot 8, Block II, on the said D.P. 70; thence due west along the southern boundary of the said Lot 8 to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 39 on D.P. 927; thence due south along a right line to and along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 39, across Gertrude Street, along the eastern boundaries of Lots 29 and 22 on the said D.P. 927, across Maud Street, along the eastern boundary of Lot 4 on the said D.P. 927, and along that boundary produced to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 4 on D.P. 1568; thence due west along a right line to and along the southern boundary of the said Lot 4, across Naumai Street, and along the southern boundary of Lot 12 on the said D.P. 1568 to the south-eastern boundary of Section 497, Block LXXI, Hokonui Survey District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 497 and 496, Block LXXI aforesaid, to the north-western corner of Lot 1 on D.P. 2414; thence due east along the northern boundary of the said Lot 1 and the northern boundary of Lot 13 on D.P. 410 to its intersection with a line running parallel to and 250 links west from the western side of Frank Street; thence south-westerly along the said line to the northern boundary of part Lot 2, Block II, on D.P. 87; thence due east along the northern boundary of the said part Lot 2 to the north-eastern corner thereof; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said part Lot 2 to the north-western corner of part Lot 25 on D.P. 181; thence due east along the northern boundary of the said part Lot 25 to a point 250 links from the western side of Robertson Street; thence due south along a right line running parallel to Robertson Street to the middle of Charlton Road; thence due east along the middle of Charlton Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 1503; thence due south to and along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 for a distance of 250 links; thence due east along a line running parallel to Charlton Road to the eastern boundary of Lot 10, Block I, on D.P. 87; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot 10 to the northern corner of Lot 3 on D.P. 1257; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 3 to the western side of the Gore-Invercargill State Highway; thence north-easterly along the western side of the said State highway to its junction with a line running parallel to and 250 links south of the southern side of Salford Street; thence easterly along the said right line and its production to the middle of the Mataura River; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of the road forming the western boundary of Section 1, Block XIII, Waikaka Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Electoral District of Awarua, hereinafter described; thence south-easterly and southerly generally along that electoral district boundary to the sea coast at the mouth of Long Beach Creek; thence north-easterly generally along the sea coast to the point of commencement.
