WAITAKI

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast due east of the junction of the Awamoа Central Road and the Oamaru-Waianakarua Main Highway in Block IV, Oamaru Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the sea coast to the middle of the mouth of the Pareora River, being a point on the boundary of the Electoral District of Timaru, hereinbefore described; thence north-westerly and north-easterly generally along the south-western and north-western boundaries of that electoral district to and north-westerly generally along the boundary of the Electoral District of Ashburton, hereinbefore described, to the summit of the Southern Alps at McClure Peak; thence south-westerly along the summit of the Southern Alps to Mount Strauchon; thence southerly along the watershed between the Ahuriri and Hunter Rivers, passing through Mounts Huxley, Gladwish, and Martha to Longslip Peak; thence through the Lindis Pass to and along the summit of the Wether and St. Bathan’s Ranges to Mount St. Bathans; thence along a right line due east to the summit of the Hawkdon Range; thence south-easterly along the summit of the Hawkdon Range, passing through Mount Ida, to the middle of the road from Mount Buster to Guffies Creek; thence northerly generally along the middle of that road to and down the middle of Guffies Creek and Otamatakau (Otematata) River to the Waitaki River; thence down the middle of the Waitaki River to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Blocks II and V, Awamoko Survey District; thence southerly to and along that boundary to the northern boundary of Section 15A, Plunket Settlement; thence easterly and southerly along the northern and eastern boundaries of the said Section 15A to a public road; thence easterly along that road to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 4s, Pukenui Settlement; thence southerly generally to and along that boundary to the western boundary of Section 5s, Pukenui Settlement; thence along the western, southern, eastern, and again southern boundaries of the said Section 5s to the western boundary of the Papakaio Survey District; thence southerly along that boundary to the southern boundary of Block I, Papakaio Survey District; thence easterly along that boundary to the left bank of the Oamaru Creek; thence southerly down the left bank of that creek to the road forming the generally southern boundary of Section 70, Ardgowan Settlement; thence westerly along that road and its continuation to Parsons Road; thence southerly along Parsons Road to Tutu Hill Road; thence easterly generally along that road to and southerly along the road forming the western boundaries of Sections 95, 132, and 133, Ardgowan Settlement, to the road forming the northern boundaries of Lots 3 and 2, D.P. 4771; thence westerly along that road to White Rocks Road; thence southerly along that road to Stonewall Road; thence easterly along that road to Awamoа Central Road; thence southerly generally along that road to its junction with the Oamaru-Waianakarua Main Highway; thence due east to the point of commencement; and including all wharves and other extensions seaward.
