DESCRIPTIONS OF THE BOUNDARIES OF THE ELECTORAL DISTRICTS

ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the mouth of the Kaipara Harbour and proceeding easterly and northerly generally up the middle of that harbour and the middle of the Wairoa River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Whakahara Parish; thence north-easterly generally to and along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Okahu Parish and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Mangonui River; thence north-westerly generally up the middle of the said river, to and up the middle of the Tauraroa River to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 44 as shown on D.P. 8548, being part of Walton’s 2A Grant; thence along a right line to and along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 44, crossing an intervening public road, along the north-western boundary of Lot 43 as shown on the said plan numbered 8548, to the eastern boundary of Block VII, Tangihua Survey District; thence northerly generally along the said eastern boundary, the eastern boundary of Block I, Tangihua Survey District, to and along the south-western boundary of Section E. 9, Block III, Tangihua Survey District, the south-western boundary of Section S.W. 9, the south-western and western boundaries of Section 14, along the western boundaries of Sections 15 and 16, all the aforesaid sections being of the said Block III, to and along the south-western boundaries of Sections 7, E. 8, W. 8, S.E. 9, N.W. 9, 10, 11, part 12, 13, and 14, all of Block I, Tangihua Survey District, along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 15 of the said Block I, to and along the generally south-western boundary of Lot 2 as shown on D.P. 13137; being part of Pukepukerau Block, and along a right line, being the northern part of the last-mentioned boundary produced across a public road, to its northern side; thence along the northern side of the said road to and along the south-eastern boundary of part of Section 6, Block IV, Maungaru Survey District, and along a right line, being the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Waiotama River; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 4 of the said Block IV; thence along a right line across a public road, to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of the said Section 4, along the eastern and northern boundaries of Section 1, Block IV aforesaid, along the northern end of a public road and along a right line, being the last-mentioned end produced to the middle of the Wairua River; thence down the middle of the said Wairua River to and up the middle of the Mangakahia River to a point in line with the south-eastern end of a public road forming the eastern boundary of Section 8, Block XV, Mangakahia Survey District; thence along a right line, to and along the south-eastern end of the said road, along the north-eastern boundary of part of Maungaru Block, to the westernmost corner of Section 13, Block XIV, Mangakahia Survey District; thence along the north-western boundary of Section 13 aforesaid, along a right line across Kerekopene Road to and along the north-western boundary of Section 24, along the eastern boundaries of Sections 26 and 25, to and along the generally northern boundary of Section 2 of the said Block XIV, crossing intervening public roads, along the southern boundaries of Sections 43, 39, 8A, all of Block X, Mangakahia Survey District, along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Lot 12, along a right line across a public road, to and along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Lot 10, the aforesaid lots being as shown on D.P. 12413, and being parts of Te Karaka Block, along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 25 as shown on Deeds Plan W. 55, being part of the said Te Karaka Block, to and along the south-eastern, north-eastern, and north-western boundaries of the northern part of Lot 24 as shown on the aforesaid plan numbered 12413, along the north-western boundaries of the southern part of Lot 24 as shown on the aforesaid plan W. 55, along a right line across a public road, to and along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 5 as shown on the aforesaid plan W. 55, to the northernmost corner of Lot 2 of Section 10, Block XII, Tutamoe Survey District; thence along the north-western boundary of the said Lot 2 of Section 10 and along a right line, being the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the western boundary of Section 9 of the said Block XII; thence along the western boundary of Section 9 aforesaid, along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced across a public road, to and along the northern boundary of Section 9 and the northern and north-western boundaries of Section 10, both the aforesaid sections being of Block XI, Tutamoe Survey District, to and along the generally south-western boundaries of Sections 11, 12, 13, and the southern and western boundaries of Section 14 of the said Block XI, and along a right line across the Opouteke River and a public road to the south-eastern corner of Section 4, Block X, Tutamoe Survey District; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundary of the said Section 4, to and along the eastern boundaries of Sections 15 and 12 of Block VI, Tutamoe Survey District, and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the generally eastern side of a public road forming the western boundaries of Sections 10 and 15, Block VII, Tutamoe Survey District, and Lot 2 of Section 13, Block III, Tutamoe Survey District; thence along the eastern side of the said road to the road angle opposite the easternmost corner of Section 12A, Block II, Tutamoe Survey District; thence along a right line across the said road, to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of the said Section 12A, the eastern boundary of Section 4A of the said Block II, along the southern side of a public road forming the southern boundary of Section 1 of the said Block II, to a point due south of the south-eastern corner of Section 1 aforesaid; thence along a right line across the said road to the said south-eastern corner and along a right line between that corner and the southern corner of Section 6, Block XV, Punakitere Survey District, crossing a public road, to the middle of the Mangakahia River; thence north-easterly generally down the middle of the said river to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 6 aforesaid; thence along a right line across a public road to and along the western boundary of the said Section 6, along a right line across a public road to and along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Section 3 and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the stream forming part of the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 3; thence down the middle of the said stream, to and down the middle of the aforesaid Mangakahia River to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Aukumeroa No. 2 Block; thence along a right line to and along the north-eastern boundary of the said block and along a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the aforesaid Mangakahia River; thence down the middle of the said river to and up the middle of the Awarua River to a point in line with the southern boundary of the northern part of Nukutawhiti Block; thence along a right line to and along the southern and north-eastern boundaries of the said northern part of Nukutawhiti Block, to and down the middle of the Kaikou River, to a point in line with the western boundary of Kaikou D No. 3 Block;
