Declaring Lands in Taranaki, Wellington, and Canterbury
Land Districts Vested in the Taranaki, Wanganui, and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site, which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Taranaki Education Board, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board, and the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
FIRST SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
PART Section 21, Omata District, situated in Block VIII, Paritutu Survey District: Area, 2 roods 2 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 129, folio 242 (limited as to parcels).
As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/552E deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
LOT 9, D.P. 13691, being part Suburban Section 972, Township of Palmerston North, situated in Block XI, Kairanga Survey District: Area, 24 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 537, folio 135.

THIRD SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
LOT 1, D.P. 5495, being part Rural Section 5324, situated in Block XIII, Westerfield Survey District: Area, 4 acres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 329, folio 228.

Declaring Lands in Nelson, Canterbury, and Southland Land Districts Vested in the Nelson, Canterbury, and Southland Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PART Section 220, District of Motueka, situated in Block III, Motueka Survey District: Area, 2 acres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 71, folio 268. (S.O. Plan 7617.)
