Land Declared to be an Infected Place Under the Stock Act 1908 (Notice No. Ag. 6035)
PURSUANT to section 12A of the Stock Act 1908, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been declared to be an infected place under the said section.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 311 acres and 13 perches, being sections 6 and 30, Block III, Waikaka Survey District, Southland Land District.

Revoking Designation of State Highway-Revoking Declaration of Main Highway-Declaring Public Highway to be Main Highway and Designating Main Highway to be State Highway
PURSUANT to sections 11 and 12 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works, hereby gives notice as follows:

The portion of main highway described in the First Schedule hereto shall cease to be designated as State highway.

(1) The portion of public highway described in the First Schedule hereto shall cease to be main highway.
(2) The Order in Council made on the 13th day of November 1940,* declaring the said portion of highway to be main highway is hereby consequentially amended by revoking so much of the Second Schedule thereto as relates to the said portion of highway.

The portion of the public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be main highway within the meaning and for the purposes of the National Roads Act 1953.

The portion of main highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby designated as State highway and shall form part of the Paeroa-Whakatane State Highway.

This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ROADS COUNCIL DISTRICT No. 3
ALL that public highway in the Counties of Tauranga and Whakatane declared as the Paeroa-Whakatane Main Highway as described in the Order in Council dated 13 November 1940.*
SECOND SCHEDULE
ROADS COUNCIL DISTRICT No. 3
Paeroa-Whakatane
ALL that public highway in the Counties of Tauranga and Whakatane, commencing at the north-western boundary of the Tauranga County at the south-western corner of Section 3, Block I, Katikati North Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction via Katikati, Tauranga, Te Puke, and Matata; but excluding those portions in the boroughs of Tauranga and Te Puke, and terminating at the south-western boundary of Whakatane Borough; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107314 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington and thereon coloured red; but excluding therefrom all that portion of public highway in the County of Tauranga commencing at a point adjacent to the north-western corner of Section 211B, Block VI, Aongatete Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction and terminating at a point adjacent to the north-eastern boundary of Section 205, Block VIII, Aongatete Survey District, being a distance of 6 miles 45 chains, more or less, as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 149258 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington and thereon coloured red, but including all that portion of public highway in the County of Tauranga commencing at a point adjacent to the north-western corner of Section 211B, Block VI, Aongatete Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction and terminating at a point adjacent to the north-eastern boundary of Section 205, Block VIII, Aongatete Survey District, being a distance of 6 miles 13 chains, more or less, as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 149258 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green, the whole being a total distance of 87 miles 60 chains, more or less.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Te Kaha Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 13 January 1932 and published in the Gazette 21 January 1932, Volume I, page 115.
