A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as street the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
LAND PROCLAIMED AS STREET
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 31·9 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 14561, being part Rural Section 216A, coloured blue.
SECOND SCHEDULE
STREET CLOSED
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 7·8 perches. Passing through part Rural Section 216A; coloured green.
All situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 149313 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Pursuant to subsection (5) of section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land, being closed road, described in the First Schedule hereto to be added to the quarry described in the Second Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of closed road: 1 acre and 23·7 perches.
Being closed road in Proclamation No. 6791, Otago Land Registry, Otago R.D. (S.O. 11807.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146400 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
SECOND SCHEDULE

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 30th day of July 1948 and published in Gazette, 5 August 1948, Volume II, page 975, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 3923, defining the middle line of a further portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication) in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.
