All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the shore of Otago Harbour in line with the middle of Hillside Road and proceeding south-easterly and north-easterly generally along the shore of Otago Harbour to Taiaroa Head; thence southerly and westerly generally along the sea coast, crossing the mouths of all inlets, to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of part Section 1, Block XIII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, in certificate of title, Volume 275, folio 29, being a point on the boundary of the City of Dunedin as described in the Gazette of 1956, at page 532; thence northerly generally along that city boundary to its intersection with the middle of Middleton Road; thence north-easterly generally along the middle of Middleton Road, Easter Crescent, Forbury Road, and Hillside Road and its production to the shore of Otago Harbour, being the point of commencement.

MORNINGTON

All that area comprising the County of Taieri, the Boroughs of Green Island and Mosgiel, and that portion of the City of Dunedin lying generally west of the Electoral Districts of Dunedin Central and St. Kilda hereinbefore described.

CLUTHA

All that area comprising the Counties of Clutha and Bruce, the Boroughs of Balclutha, Kaitangata, Milton, Tapanui, Lawrence, and Gore, the Tapanui, Waipori, Gabriels, Browns, and Waitahuna Ridings of the County of Tuapeka, that portion of the Mataura Riding of the County of Southland bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the eastern boundary of the Borough of Gore with the middle line of the South Island Main Trunk Railway; thence proceeding easterly and northerly generally along the middle of the said Main Trunk Railway to and along the Waikaka Branch Railway to its intersection with the middle of a road forming the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 2610; thence easterly along the middle of that road to a road passing through Section 6, Block II, Chatton Survey District; thence northerly along the middle of that road to and easterly along the road forming the northern boundaries of the said Section 6 and Section 3, Block II aforesaid, to the western boundary of the County of Clutha; thence southerly along that County boundary to the intersection of the Kaiwera Road and the road forming the south-eastern boundary Section 23, Block XII, Waipahi Survey District; thence proceeding north-westerly along the middle of Kaiwera Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 4, Block XII aforesaid; thence southerly to and along that boundary to and westerly along the southern boundaries of the said Section 4 and Section 3, Block XII aforesaid; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 12, 11, 9, and 8, Block XI, Waikaka Survey District, crossing Kaiwera Road, to Quertier and Elliot Road; thence westerly generally to and along the middle of that road, Mataura Road, and Gardiners Road to the road forming the western boundary of Section 1, Block XIII, Waikaka Survey District; thence northerly along the middle of that road and its production to the middle of the Mataura River; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of the Borough of Gore; thence westerly to that boundary and north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of the said borough to its intersection with the middle of the Main Trunk Railway, being the point of commencement; also that portion of the Beaumont Riding of the County of Tuapeka excluded from the Electoral District of Otago Central hereinbefore described.

AWARUA

All those areas comprising the County of Stewart Island, the Boroughs of South Invercargill, Bluff, and Mataura, the Town District of Wyndham, the Waihopai, Toetoes, and Awarua Ridings of the County of Southland, Dog Island, Centre Island, and Campbell Islands, that portion of the Mataura Riding of the County of Southland excluded from the Electoral District of Clutha hereinbefore described, that portion of the Wallacetown Riding of the County of Southland lying to the east of the Oreti River, that portion of the City of Invercargill lying generally south of a line commencing at the south-western corner of Lot 3, D.P. 2394, being a point on the eastern boundary of the said city, and proceeding westerly along the southern boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 2394; thence northerly along the western boundary of the said Lot 1 and its production to the middle of John Street; thence westerly generally along the middle of John Street, Pomona Street, Martin Street, Elles Road South, Panton Street, across Seawood Bush Railway, and along the middle of Woodhouse Street and its production to the eastern boundary of Section 10, Block III, Invercargill Hundred, being a point on the western boundary of the said City of Invercargill.

INVERCARGILL

All that area comprising the City of Invercargill, excluding therefrom that portion included in the Electoral District of Awarua hereinbefore described.

WALLACE

All that area comprising the Counties of Fiord and Wallace, the Boroughs of Winton, Queenstown, Arrowtown, and Riverton, the Town Districts of Nightcaps, Otautau, and Lumsden, the Winton, Hokonui, Wakaia, and Oreti Ridings of the County of Southland, the Kingston, Greenstone, and Queenstown Ridings of the County of Lake, that portion of the Mataura Riding of the County of Southland not included in the Electoral Districts of Clutha and Awarua hereinbefore described, that portion of the Wallacetown Riding of the County of Southland lying to the west of the Oreti River, and that portion of the Arrow Riding of the County of Lake lying generally south-west of a straight line from Mount Cardrona to Mount Motatapu.
